Here is Melissa’s Version of how these two met:
Melissa moved to Denver, CO in 2003 for a change of scenery. While trying to find a job in her field of interest, she started to work at a local restaurant. In March of 2003, Kyle moved from Tampa, FL to Denver, CO to live with some old friends for a few months. When he arrived in Denver, he also started working at the same local restaurant as Melissa. After getting to know each other, Kyle asked Melissa out on a date. Unfortunately, Melissa was still dating someone back in Omaha and had to turn down the offer. Fortunately, shortly thereafter, Melissa was single again. Kyle was persistent and asked her out on a date again. About a week later, Kyle told another co-worker that he was “going to marry that girl some day.” Six years later, he kept his promise!
That brings us to the Wedding Date! on June 6, 2009, Kyle and Melissa decided to get married at the Lake Lure Inn in NC. We couldn’t wait to shoot this wedding! After meeting with Melissa a few months before the wedding date, we knew it was going to be a great time. The Ceremony setting was at a small Gazebo outdoors overlooking the lake with the Lake Lure Inn in the backdrop of the scenery. It provided for a breathtaking view and we couldn’t have asked for better weather in June.
They chose Michael Juliano as the photographer for the day. Michael was very laid back and easy to work with…not to mention very creative and artistic. The DJ was Dylan Skidmore of Blazin Sounds Entertainment and he definitely knows how to get the party going.
Melissa and Kyle, it was an honor to be a part of your wedding day. From the beginning stages of the Wedding plans to now, you guys have been great to work with. We hope that you enjoy your wedding film for years to come! To the vendors, thanks for making this wedding one to remember, you guys were all a real pleasure to work with.
